Participation Conditions for the BtcTurk Bull Run on April 21, 2024

1. BtcTurk Bull Run to be held on April 21, 2024 (“Competition”) will be organized on 21.04.2024 on the Üsküdar Beach start and finish route in accordance with the Athletics Federation Athletics Competition Instructions (TAF Competition Instructions), IAAF rules, World Athletic (WA) and World Master Athletics (WMA) competition technical rules and the special provisions hereunder. 
2. In the two-lap half marathon route that starts at Üsküdar Sahil Square and continues along the coastline, two separate directions will be set up for 10 km and 21.0975 km at the turn around Harem Bus Terminal. Athletes who run a single lap will have run 10 km, competitors who run two laps will have run 21.0975 km by returning from the 2nd gate in the Harem Bus Terminal area in the second lap. The course length will be indicated as 21 km in communication activities, logos, etc.
3. The competition will be open to foreign participants as well as Turkish nationals. While registering, foreign participants are required to send their cards with foreign ID number and medical reports to [email protected].
4. Separate evaluations will be made in the male and female categories.
5. The age categories to be applied in the competitions are given below.

• General Classification: 18+
• Youth (ages between 18-29)
• Adults (ages between 30-34, ages between 35-39)
• Master (ages between 40-44, ages between 45-49, ages between 50-54)
• Veteran (ages 55+)

6. The event is open to all individuals over the age of 18. Participants over 65 years of age can participate in the competition with an ECG an medical report and/or license from a Cardiologist. Participants must present their medical report or license to the respective desk on the day of the competition. All responsibility for participating in the competition belongs to the participant.

8. To register, the participant must fill in the Participation Form in the application section of www.btcturkbogakosusu.com and confirm the Disclaimer set by the Athletics Federation.
9. All contestants who will participate in the competition must have a membership and an account opened in one of the BtcTurk applications. When filling out the form, users must register using the same e-mail address they used to register with BtcTurk. ID cards will be presented when the Kits are distributed.
10. After the contestants fill in the participation form, their registration is completed and they are deemed to have accepted these conditions of participation.
11. Kits will be distributed free of charge to the participants from the points to be announced before the start of the race. The following products will be given as gifts in the Kit to be distributed. The race numbers that the participants are obliged to wear during the race will also be distributed with the Kits.

• Bag,
• Chip (Race Number)

12. The organizing team and the referees have the right to exclude a participant from the race if at any point in the race they see a risky situation related to the athlete’s health.
13. Registered participants are obliged to pick up their kits. Kit distribution points will be announced on the website and social media channels. There will be no distribution/shipping of kits after the event ends.
14. The categories of the contest and the prizes to be awarded to the winning users in these categories can be found in the table below. It is planned to deliver the prizes to the runners who ranked and won prizes until 21.05.2024 at the latest.
15. Foreign nationals participating in the BtcTurk Bull Run who place in the race and receive prizes will be able to receive their awards either in Satoshi to their provided Bitcoin wallet address or as a balance in Turkish Lira (TL) to a bank account they own. Rewards for BtcTurk users will be credited directly to their accounts.

16. The Pre-Start Deposit Tent will be designated as a specially protected area with a one-way entrance. Safety deposits will be accepted until 45 minutes before the competition begins. Competitors who have provided a safety deposit will hand over their entrusted items at the desk assigned according to their race numbers. They will then be able to retrieve their items from the same desk after the competition by presenting their race numbers. Please note that valuable items will not be accepted for deposit. A statement detailing the safety deposit process will be published and displayed on notice boards within the area. Additionally, each bag submitted for safety deposit will undergo scanning with x-ray devices beforehand.
17. All material and moral responsibility for participation in the organization belongs to the participants. The organizer company is exempt from any liability. This includes accidents, lost items or other tools/equipment. 
18. The Organizer shall not be liable in any way whatsoever if a participant becomes ill or injures himself/herself in any way during the BtcTurk Bull Run event. The Organizer may direct the participant to a health institution if deemed necessary. All expenses that may be incurred in relation to medical care that may be applied to the participants at the health institution shall be borne by the participant. The Organizer has no responsibility in this regard. Upon receipt of the participation documents, all participants agree that there is no health impediment for them to participate in the race.
19. In accordance with the TAF (Turkish Athletics Federation) special path races instruction, all athletes participating in the competition are insured by the Federation during the race period. 
20. The race number cannot be transferred to other persons in any way. Transferring the race number to other people is grounds for disqualification.
21. Competitors will run on the course marked by the organization throughout the race. 
22. The race results will be available on the results page of www.btcturkbogakosusu.com and will be published on the raceresult.com link. Runners will be able to access the results and certificates from the same address.
23. It is the competitor’s responsibility to follow the signs and run on the designated course. Leaving the race route or changing the route will cause the competitor to be disqualified.
24. In the event that a winning participant is disqualified, his/her prize entitlement will be forfeited and/or the prize will be donated or awarded to an alternative winner. Individuals disqualified from an event will be removed from the official results.
25. If the Organizer, on the instructions of the relevant authorities or for any other reason deemed appropriate by it, considers that it is dangerous or inconvenient to hold the BtcTurk Bull Run event, the Organizer shall have the right, without any liability or obligation, to cancel or change the event, change the details of the event such as the date, start time, course and distance and/or the facilities offered in connection with the event.
26. Participants participating in the BtcTurk Bull Run event will not be reimbursed for any expenses incurred for participation for any reason whatsoever. The organizer will not have any responsibility for transportation or accommodation costs, cancellation and change costs in line with the changes or cancellations it may make.
27. The Organizer reserves the right to change, cancel and/or substitute any or all of the announced prizes with prizes of similar value. Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
28. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify and expel, at its sole discretion, the Participant for non-compliance with the Terms of Participation, or if the Participant’s behavior at the event, prior to the event, or during activities related to the event is at any point offensive, damaging or harming to a person, property, or the reputation of the Organizer, or if the Participant posts incriminating and/or offensive against to the Organizer or the organization or terrorism-related posts on social media, including, but not limited to, providing false information on entry forms, engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct, competing with an unofficial number, competing with a race number assigned to another person, transmitting a race number to another person, attempting to obtain a race number from another person as well as health or safety reasons; and for behavior it deems illegal or inappropriate in its sole discretion.
29. The Organizer’s decision is final in legal disputes that may arise at any stage of the Contest.
30. The organization has the right to make changes in all participation conditions including the course by informing the competitors before the race. The participant is obliged to follow these changes and updates. The unchanged provisions of these Conditions of Participation shall remain in full force and effect.
31. The Participant accepts, declares and undertakes that in the event of any dispute arising out of this competition, all records, books and documents belonging to the Organizer shall constitute valid and conclusive evidence, that he/she shall not offer an oath to the Organizer and that he/she waives the right to offer an oath and that this provision shall constitute an evidence Protocol in accordance with Article 193 of the Code of Civil Procedure (“CCP”).
32. Istanbul Central Courts and Enforcement Offices are authorized in disputes related to these campaign conditions.

By registering, each participant is deemed to have declared that he/she agrees to abide by these 30 rules and provisions specified by the organizer. He/she cannot make any claims outside of these rules.

EXPLICIT CONSENT FORM REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

I hereby declare that I freely and voluntarily give my explicit consent to the processing of my visual and audio recording data and sensitive personal data processed within the scope of the “BtcTurk Bull Run” event by Eliptik Yazılım ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (“Company“) for the purposes specified in the Disclosure Statement on the Processing of Personal Data (“Disclosure Statement“) prepared by the Company within the framework of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“LPPD“) and to the transfer of my general and sensitive data specified in the Disclosure Statement to technical infrastructure providers located abroad and also to the transfer of my visual and audio recording data to private legal entities whose headquarters are located abroad and that I have been informed about my rights arising from the LPPD. 

Furthermore, I hereby agree, declare and undertake that I have informed the data subjects and obtained the necessary explicit consents from them regarding the information on the emergency contacts I submitted to your Company during registration, and that I will hold the Company free from any damages in the event of any damage arising in relation to this matter.

Processed Personal Data, Purposes of Processing Personal Data, Receiving Parties and Purposes of Transfer  

We process your personal data, which are included in the following processes, within the scope of the specified processing purposes, in the light of the general principles as per Article 4 of the Law, by fully or partially automated or non-automated means, provided that they are part of any data recording system, and transfer them to the specified recipient groups. Necessary administrative and technical measures are taken by our Company to ensure the security of your personal data.

• Regarding the registration process for the event;

You are responsible to inform the data subjects and, if necessary, to obtain their explicit consent, so that the information about the emergency contacts transmitted can be transferred to the Company and its recipient groups.

BTCTURK BULL RUN 2024 WAIVER FORM

I hereby accept and declare that I bear all kinds of material and moral responsibility in case of any injury and / or damage that may occur to me before and after the competition to be held on 21.04.2024, during the activities, and that the organizers, persons in charge of the organization, sponsors, organization representatives and other third parties other than me will not be held responsible in any way, that I am physically sufficient to participate in this competition and that I have no medical disability.

I hereby accept, declare and undertake that I consent to the use and publication of all kinds of photographs, films, videos and all kinds of recordings taken during the competition, without limitation of time, number, place, country and medium and that these uses do not prejudice the personal rights defined in the Turkish Civil Code; that I hereby transfer to BtcTurk, exclusively, free of charge and irrevocably, without limitation of place, duration, number, country and medium, the right of adaptation (Article 21), the right of reproduction (Article 22), the right of distribution (Article 23), the right of performance (Article 24) and the right to communicate to public by devices enabling the transmission of signs, sounds and/or images (Article 25) as per LIAW including the power to authorize third parties to benefit from these rights and to transfer to third parties and that I have transferred the authorization of the use of moral rights, that I do not claim any rights and receivables under any name for this reason, and that I have been informed about all these uses.
